Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An enormous amount of service requests triggered by specific events, such as an interactive quiz show on a TV program, can be expected to occur within a short period of time. Those service requests can disable the end server when their amount exceeds the admissible capability of the end server. In order to address this problem, the authors have developed an access control system using orderly tickets which are issued by the middle node denoted by access pass server. Since the developed system calculates the waiting time based on the average service time, the number of simultaneous sessions of the end server cannot be controlled to the desired number when the service time for each user terminal is not correspond to the average service time. Therefore, this paper proposes a new algorithm to control the number of simultaneous sessions using the probability density function of the service time and shows the validity of the proposed system.
