Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ID/locator split network architectures use distinct sets of values for host identifiers and locators, thus allowing the network layer protocols to change locators without requiring the upper layers to change identifiers. This capability is helpful for designing efficient solutions to mobility management. In this technical report, we give an overview of mobility management functions in related research on ID/locator split architectures. We then present our ID/locator split network architecture and show how the architecture natively incorporates mobility management functions.
