Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose a data aggregation protocol that deals with heterogeneous sensors nodes. For each sensor node that periodically transmits raw data or processed data, which respectively require high and low transmission rates, our protocol determines a pair of a sink node and a neighbor node to which the data is forwarded such that the forwarding rate at each node is balanced over the target sensor network. As a result, the deadline will be satisfied with high probability and the reliability of data transmission will be increased. Simulation experiments have been conducted to prove the effectiveness of our protocol and to validate the protocol design.
