Abstract(in English) Wireless LAN has been widely used recently. Consequently, real-time applications have been increasingly used in wireless environments. IEEE802.11e is prepared as the standard of wireless LAN to improve Quality of Service (QoS) for the real-time applications, however, it cannot offer required QoS for such applications when an application generates excessive traffic. This is because controls of IEEE802.11e only schedule traffic in MAC layer for the generated traffic in upper layer. To solve this problem, we propose an autonomous method to control traffic generation in application layer with using wireless channel occupancy information in MAC layer.
