Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Simultaneous data delivery services such as streaming and network games have recently become popular, and they cause the increase of network traffic on the Internet. As one of the solutions we have proposed μSEcast protocol, which efficiently achieves simultaneous data delivery using unicast-based packet forwarding. However, the conventional μSEcast has a ploblem that the packets that include not the same but similar data cannot be efficiently encapsulated. In this paper, we propose an efficient similar packet encapsulation method. The proposed method is implemented on PC routers and its performance is evaluated.
