Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, database security has attracted attention due to frequent occurrence of individual information leak. Distributed database systems have higher extensibility than centralized database systems, and have advantage that load distribution is possible. But protection of data confidentiality and integrity is more difficult in distributed database systems because data are allocated to multiple servers. The secret sharing scheme is secure distributing data method. So it is thoght that we can build highly confidencial and integrity database system by using the secret sharing scheme. We have already implemented a trial database system using a (k,n) threshold scheme, which is one of the secret sharing scheme. In this paper, we redesign system functions and behavior of servers. Then we verify security of the designed system. Finally we implement a distributed database system using the (k,n) threshold scheme newly.
