Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Today, many services are operated using Web application. However, hard-to-use Web applications are frequently found in business applications that reduce the operating effectiveness. In this paper, we present a Web operation support system using operation logs. The system collects Web operations without any installation in client PCs and extracts typical operation patterns using log mining technique. When users need an operating support, they can get the next operation candidates on Web page based on log mining results. We assess the possibility of the system by estimating operation log size. The results show that the need-to-record log size is only 1KByte per page and enough small size to apply the system to the practical Web applications.
