| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes activities of international standard related security issues at the ITU-T which is international standardization body on telecommunications. ITU-T started the study of security issues from 2001 as one of the important study topic, and it is studying security issues on cybersecurity, security management for telecommunications, biometrics for telecommunications, security functions for communications and application services, identity management, etc. Because attacks to network infrastructure and network users are increasing rapidly, ITU-T promotes security activities on cybersecurity, countering spam, and creation of national computer incident response teams for developing countries especially to protect them from various kinds of network attacks. The activities related these issues are explained briefly, and several problems on international standardization of security issues at ITU-T are also discussed in this talk. |
