Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We applied the open-plus-closed-loop method for control, devised by Jackson and Grosu, to chaos-based secure communications. A message signal is encrypted by multiplicatively involving it into the chaotic dynamics of a transmitter system with parameter mismatch to that of a receiver system. Numerical experiments showed that our method can achieve chaos-based secure communications using the parameter mismatch as a key for decrypting the message, regardless of the conditional Lyapunov exponents of the dynamics.
