Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the multi-state consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system, both the components and the system are allowed to be in multi-state. One of the main problems is the optimal arrangement problem obtain the arrangement of components with maximum expectation of system states. As the number of components n increase, the amount of calculation would be too much to obtain the solution within a reasonable computing time. In this paper, we have proposed a efficient algorim to obtain optimal arrangements for such problems for the multi-state consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system. In addition, we investigate the property of optimal arrangements using our proposed algorithm.
