Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless sensor networks, developing battery powered multi-hop network has been a critical issue to monitor the wide area environment information for a long time. However, the low power MAC may increase a sleep delay caused by the corresponding sleeping destination node. Hence, it is difficult to apply a long duty cycled low power MAC to the application which handles urgent information with the delay limitation. In this paper, we propose a low power and low delay multi-hop communication method using cross layer architecture with network layer. Proposed method is based on LPL (Low Power Listening) which is known as a low power MAC. Proposed method realizes the low end to end delay and the high power-saving effect at the same time.
