Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the Communication-Base-Ranging system by which advanced collision avoidance becomes possible because each vehicle understands information in a position each other and the blind spot by transmitting and receiving information on precise time clock and vehicle (position, speed, brake.. etc) in surrounding. This system has a drawback that communication and ranging cannnot be done if a target vehicle doesn't have it. In this paper, we propose suitable DS-UWB signal design for the Communication-Base-Ranging and radar to acquire distamce information regardless of whether a target vehicle has devices, and evaluate it.
