Abstract(in English) | To prevent industrial accidents that occur in man-machine operation systems, it is indispensable to carry out the cooperation of protective measures and safety management. However, it is not easy to establish quantitative risk evaluation formula because countermeasures depending on human attention are considered highly uncertain. Therefore, according to "principle of safety" that means uncertainty is considered to be dangerous, a formula to estimate quantitatively the upper limitation of the rate of industrial accidents was proposed. This formula can be used as a general safety index of man-machine operation systems, as it includes not only safety index related to the protective measures but also the safety management. |
