Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper shows a result of performance evaluation of 2 or 3 element MIMO antennas mounted on a mobile phone terminal. A shorten half wave-length dipole antenna element with short helical structures is adopted in this study. 2 or 3 these elements are equipped with a mobile phone terminal model so that the MIMO antennas are constructed. The MIMO channel capacity is evaluated under the conditions for macrocell radio propagation environments a macro cellular environment which statistical distribution parameters of incident wave has been presented as an experimental result, and the results are compared with that for the typical model that incident waves uniformly distributes. Consequently, it is found that the evaluated result of MIMO channel capacity under a macrocell environment is almost the same as that under the environment in witch the incident waves distributed uniformly.
