Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed a phase adjuster as one of device to improve energy conversion efficiency of a thermoacoustic prime mover in a loop-tube. We have to measure a sound pressure and a particle velocity in prime mover for understanding mechanism of the phase adjuster, but measurement of those in prime mover is impossible. Therefore, in this report, we measured a sound field of the loop-tube in detail, when we set four different diameter of phase adjusters in the loop-tube. As results, it is regarded that the phase adjuster of inner diameter 34.5mm, 26.5mm are not changed the distribution of the sound pressure and the particle velocity in the loop-tube, but its of inner diameter 18.5mm, 10.5mm are changed those in loop-tube. In addition, it is confirmed that the maximum value of a phase difference between sound pressure and particle velocity decreases in the loop-tube with reduction of inner diameter on phase adjuster. It is considered that traveling wave component of sound wave increases.
