Abstract(in English) One of the authors has been developing aspherical acoustic lenses for an underwater acoustic imaging sonar system. The sonar system makes images by using Frequency sweep method, and then to improve the lens performance we need to measure frequency and incident angle dependency characteristics of aspherical acoustic lens. Because under Frequency sweep method an acoustic beam has only one frequency at each irradiation angle. In this study, we reported characteristics of frequency and incident angle for Len B, which we have estimated basic characteristics before. Measuring conditions were 0.5, 0.7, 1.0MHz at a source frequency and 0.0°, 4.0° and 8.0° at a incident angle into the lens, respectively. Measured convergence point and its beam width were compared with simulated results, which were obtained by FDTD method. As a result, it is shown that calculated results were good agreement with measured results.
