Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a pitch estimation method for musical instrument sounds based on notch type comb filters which eliminate the pitch and its harmonic frequencies. However, it was difficult to estimate the pitch of musical sounds that include a percussion sound by the previous method. This paper presents a pitch estimation method and onset detection for musical sounds including a percussion sound using resonator-type comb filters. The performance evaluation of the proposed method was investigated using piano sounds and 20 kinds of percussion sounds. As a result, the pitch estimation precision was about 95.2% and the onset detection precision was about 95.7%.
