Abstract(in English) In this paper, we proposes a layered multicast encryption scheme of motion JPEG2000 codestreams for layered multicast transmission. Motion JPEG2000 generates hierarchical codestreams and has flexible scalability, such as resolution or SNR. The proposed layered multicast encryption allows a sender to multicast the hierarchical encrypted JPEG2000 codestreams so that only designated groups of users can decrypt the codestreams. The encrypted bitstreams produced by the proposed method have the complete compliance with JPSEC.
