The design of frequency domain Inter Carrier Interference (ICI) canceling circuit and detecting Doppler frequency error for OFDM receiver

Abstract(in English) In the wireless communication to mobile object for OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). When the receiving sides could not correct Frequency Error by Dopper Shift, it is unable to keep orthogonality which is behavior of OFDM signal. One symbol in carrier wave of specific frequency interferes to carrier wave of another frequency. This interfering call ICI (Inter Carrier Interference). Therefore, receiving signal BER (Bit Error Late) is wrong seriously. A new procedure is proposed to method that ICI reduction within frequency domain after FFT. Frequency Error is detected by degree of phase rotation of scatterd pilots in between 4 symbol. In order to estimate effectivity of proposed method, we simulated that depend on the ISDB-T. Simulations show that proposed algorithim provides large reductions in the BER compared with the classic decoder in 64 QAM modulation. BER performance varies on Signal to Noise ratio for each carrier (CNR), the Doppler performance is increased by around two times at BER 4×10^<-2>.
