Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose several multi-dimensional indexing techniques in P2P network with a new concept called Content Heat, which means a degree of contents requested by users. In P2P networks, there is a trade-off between completeness and retrieval speed. Especially, this problem is extreamly notable in the case of which users would like to obtain recently generated contents as fast as possible. In this paper, we introduce Content Heat, which represents a level of such users needs. With the concept of Content Heat, several multi-dimensional indexing methods are proposed in this paper. First method is a (n+1) dimension index, combination of multi-dimensional attributes of contents, and Content Heat. The other methods proposed here are Content Heat Priority method and Content Heat Bits Embedded method.
