Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose switching control which dynamically switches the transmission method of the sense of force according to network latency in a remote haptic control system. The control chooses two-way transmission of the sense of force when the network latency between the master and slave terminals is small, and it selects one-way transmission of the sense of force when the network latency between the terminals is large. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the control by subjective assessment.
