Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A collaborative machine translation system back-translates the translated result in the input language and the user modifies the input sentence referring to the back translation. However, it is not necessarily easy to modify the input sentence appropriately. The guided input method guides the user inputs by analyzing input sentences that produce correct results, and presenting word candidates which lead to a correct translation. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the guided input method depending on the number of the accumulated input sentences. As the number of accumulated input sentences increases, the utility of the method increases and the number of translation trials decreases.
