Experimental results of TX polarization forming antenna for VPFDM satellite communication systems

Abstract(in English) NTT has proposed Variable Polarization Frequency Division Multiplexing(VPFDM) that allows user earth station to free utilize both polarization and frequency resources. To improve frequency utilization, we proposed orthogonal antenna polarization forming against another user/system using common frequency bandwidth. This paper presents novel correction method of antenna characteristics between two antenna planes of the dual-polarization antenna and measurement results of polarization forming characteristics.
