Abstract(in English) | Wireless communications are becoming indispensable to our daily life because of the spread of various wireless access technologies like cellular, wireless LAN, and others. In addition, the inefficient use of the current assigned spectrum has been pointed out as a serious problem due to the scarce of the constrained amount of available radio spectrum. Then, cognitive radio technology, which can adaptively detect spatial and temporal changes in use over various frequency bands is expected to make the wireless resource sharing properly. On the other hand, in ad hoc communications, such as vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, since the existence of a common control channel cannot be assumed due to both a lack of infrastructure and movement of the nodes distributed channel coordination is invariably needed. In this paper we focus on one hop V2V communication and propose a distributed channel coordination scheme. Furthermore, we develop a channel utilization model in which the utilization of each channel changes temporally and spatially. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can reliably utilize unused frequency under the proposed utilization model. |
