Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper shows the overview of the development project on the next-generation high-speed electrical signal processing technologies for 100Gbps optical signal transport in both Local Area Network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). The project consists of two subproject; 1) The 100Gbps Ethernet electrical signal processing technologies realizing low-power-consumption parallel optical interface (25Gbps×4), 2) The digital modulation and demodulation signal processing technologies for long-haul 100Gbps serial transport over OTN (Optical Transport Network) that accommodate waveform distortion due to large group velocity dispersion (0-20,000ps/nm) and high polarization mode dispersion (0-50ps).
