Abstract(in English) We are developing an automatic speech recognition (ASR) system used for information assurance at meetings for hearing impaired people. In this paper, we evaluated a new function which stops temporarily ASR processing depending on the delay of the amending work in order to support cooperation between speakers and a mender. We knew the following. By this function, (1) Mental work load of the menders was able to be reduced, but that of the speakers didn't always reduce, (2) speakers were able to utter smoothly, but the dialogue efficiency didn't increase because of the addition of ASR stop time.
