Abstract(in English) | We are developing an automatic speech recognition system used for information assurance for hearing-impaired people. This system is especially useful in situations in which a third person, including a sign-language interpreter, cannot support hearing-impaired people. In this paper, we tried this system in an actual at office meeting, and evaluated the system. We knew the following. When the system was correctly used, enough giving information of meeting for hearing impaired people was able to be done. However, that meeting time increases more than the usual meeting, and efficiency of meeting progress was not good. That cause was thought the posed time during utterance and the switch time of the speakers was long. |
