Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an algorithm to estimate trajectories of mobile nodes based on encounter information and geographic information. This method does not rely on multi-hop ad-hoc networks or global positioning systems, but assumes reasonable number of landmarks. The proposed method first identifies the trajectories of nodes which can be estimated accurately and easily, and then estimates the others referring to these trajectories. The method achieves low computation cost for estimation and provides accurate solutions (the average estimation error was less than 40% of the wireless range in simulation experiments).
