Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This work proposes a new algorithm to estimate the user's behaviors using a tri-axial acceleration sensor for realizing Just-in-time services which provide useful information to the user at just the right time. The key of this work is to determine the user's behavior within 3 seconds based on the data obtained by the acceleration sensor. In this paper, the concrete procedures for estimating user's behaviors, such as standing, sitting, walking, running, stepping stairs, using escalator, and using elevator, will be discussed. In addition, some preliminary experimental results will be reported.
