Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) So far, we have proposed a programmable and scalable queue management scheme, called Online Management Queueing (OMQ) which manages information of all flows not in the router but on a remote server. A router discards arrival packets according to the status information of flow from a remote server. However, OMQ may degrade its link utilization in a certain link. In this paper, we extend the existing OMQ by introducing the concept of virtual time to achieve higher link utilization. This can achieve provision of high-speed, high-scalability, fairness and high-throughput. We confirm the performance of the proposed scheme in terms of fairness and throughput.
