Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the conventional speech synthesis methods to express emotion, we changed sound features of speech based on emotion that we try to express. In this paper, we propose a new method to express emotion based on syllabic speech features. We construct emotion expression rules from syllabic sound features of human speech. We use pitch, power and speech speed of syllable as sound features. We realize speech synthesis method based on proposed idea and evaluate the utility of our method based on an experiment.
