Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider about introducing degree-of-edit order which represents "how much a CGV is edited" as a novel ranking measure for the Consumer Generated Video (CGV) retrieval, and propose an automatic degree-of-edit order estimation method. Our method estimates degree-of-edit order determined by users resulting from statistical analysis of several visual/audio features such as the number of detected shot boundaries and the duration ratio of the music that change depending on the edited level of each CGV. We conducted several experiments using a subset of distributed CGV data to evaluate the discriminant accuracy on the ground truth data by subjects, and rank correlation between degree-of-edit order determined by subjects and it estimated by our method.
