Abstract(in English) Previously we proposed and demonstrated a novel electrooptic frequency shifter which provides unity-conversion efficiency and operates over 10GHz. The principle of the this shifter is based on a Bragg diffraction from a sinusoidal traveling-phase grating produced by combination of slant periodic-domain inversion and collinearly traveling microwaves. We also proposed frequency shifting multiplication on the basis of a cascaded slant periodic-domain inversion. In this work, we fabricate two-stage frequency shifting multiplier and demonstrate frequency shifting of 32GHz at a modulation frequency of 16GHz.
