High Power LED Light Source for Projection System

Abstract(in English) The high power LED light source for projection system using a three-dimensional LED array with an ellipsoidal reflection mirror has been developed. The LED array has an optical structure similar to the conventional halogen lamp and a liquid cooling system. It can be used in the projection system instead of conventional light source. The light source enables increase the high light collecting efficiency and the LED current by liquid cooling. This system can achieve 32% light collecting efficiency and more than 80% bright uniformity.
