Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors conducted experimental classroom teaching for two years. The classroom utilized with a personal robot and the Internet. Three children with autism and a child with Down's Syndrome were participated in this project. We found that the length of a story produced by children was continuously increased and the participants became to use particle rich stories. We also found in teachers' check lists of behaviors of the children that degrees of their behavior problems were decreased significantly. Although further studies are needed, the results suggested that the new learning environment would take a promising role in special needs education practice.
