Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to notify correctly what a student wants to notify, it is very important to develop his or her composition abilities such as vocabulary, expressiveness and cogency. The authors have been developing new measurement and evaluation methods for ability to form composition by using the Logical Flow Graphs (LFG). This paper discusses the measurement and evaluation method for composition ability of sentences. The teacher is able to measure composition ability by an arrangement question of sentences and a structural question to answer by LFG and to evaluate composition ability by rank order correlation coefficients.
