Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the Doppler frequency estimation for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system is proposed. It is known that the Bessel function represents the relationship between Doppler frequency and the autocorrelation of Rayleigh fading. The conventional system which uses the single path has been proposed. However, the estimation accuracy of Doppler frequency is degraded. The proposed system takes advantage of the multipath channel. Therefore, the proposed system can estimate the autocorrelation by the expected value. In the proposed system, the channel impulse response is estimated from the frequency domain channel response by inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT). Then, the path which has the high signal to noise ratio (SNR) is selected. Finally, the maximum Doppler frequency is estimated from the estimation of autocorrelation of the Rayleigh fading.
