Abstract(in English) Recognizing emotion from facial expressions is the important issue in communication. This article summarizes the psychological researches on the visual information for facial expression recognition: studies applying information processing technique and analyses based on Facial Action Coding System (FACS). We discuss the significance and perspective on these researches.
