Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) If the signals of the inaudible frequencies can be converted to the audible sounds, various phenomena may be observed and diagnosed without using displays. It is known that the signal frequency can be shifted by changing the tempo or by heterodyne detection techniques. In these methods, however, the duration of the signal changes or the harmonic structure is lost. The audio pitch shifter can also change the signal frequency without losing the harmonic structure and without changing the duration.
