Application of active control system : Towards realization of global-local control considering the movement of control points

Abstract(in English) Active noise control (ANC) system which can cope with movement of the control points is currently investigated. For this purpose, the concept of virtual error sensor is introduced and some simulations are carried out to date. In this report, the other necessary concept of multiple channel version of Modeling ANC is introduced. This method is the modified version of so-called Active Sound Profiling method or Residual Noise Shaping method. In the introduced method, the newly introduced error signal that is the difference of the original version of the error signal and arbitrary modified noise signal is defined as the subject of reduction. As an effective application of this method, the system is designed to realize a global-local control in which the reduction of the sound pressure is obtained at only limited area with the residual area of being unaffected simultaneously. Numerical simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
