Improvement for Personal Authentication using Key Stroke Timing and Typing Sound

Abstract(in English) The personal authentication method using the keystroke timings and the typing sounds was proposed. For this method Self Organizing Map (SOM) was used for the integration of multi-modal biometrics. In this paper, we examine the difference of authentication accuracy with changing the recalling method of SOM from that which uses one winner unit to that using 1^ to n-th nearest unit. And, we propose the incremental learning method for SOM to adapt the temporal changes of key typing behavior. Furthermore, we examined the robustness to the noise with changing the recalling method.
