An Application of the Virtual Learning system to Biped Walking Robots

Abstract(in English) It is impossible that present robot deals with various environments and situations by one program. And, the program can't be made without clarifying the algorithm, when the problem is complicated. In order to solve the problem, the virtual learning system which can obtain and learn the optimum solution when the robots don't working is proposed. The optimum solution is found out by this equipping the robot inside with the virtual environment, and then, it carries out the simulation, and the neural network is made to learn and accumulate the solution. This proposal system was applied to stair walking of the biped walking robot, and the effectiveness was shown.
