Abstract(in English) Recently, an increase in the volume of knowledge and information available has increased because of the influence of the development of information technology. However, the evolution of human's information processing ability has not caught up with this development. The purpose of this research is targets knowledge of Information Appliance and it constructs 「in the object field where social knowledge changes rapidly, technique for recommending knowledge adapting to state of knowledge and needs of person who is continuously related to object field.」 Concretely, we construct a user model based on ontology engineering, and we use Information Appliance Ontology for the basic vocabulary, and we propose a system that recommends knowledge concerning the usage of Information Appliances.
