Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The carrier super-posed transmission technique is a promising method for increasing frequency utilization efficiency of satellite communication system. In order to realize the carrier super-posed transmission, exetended matched filter (EMF) based propagation delay measurement method has been proposed by the authors. The bit width at the input of the signal gives major inpact on the cancellation performance as well as the accuracy of the propagation timing measurement by proposed EMF method. In this paper, we investigate two types of system configuration for evaluating the required bit width. Computer simulation results show that reference signal needs more than 6 bits for supressing unwanted signal over 30dB when the effective number of bits of signals is 10.
