Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we show a dynamic and personalized curriculum generation method by analyzing causality and dependency for the learning objects. By applying our method to a set of results of achievement tests, it calculates and extracts the strength and the rules of causality and dependency between individual learning objects, by using results of testing and trends of understanding in a particular community and the definitions of learning objects with the order of learning. This method is used to discover important learning objects for an individual user which are ordered for effective learning. By analyzing every individual result of testing of a particular community, this method realizes computation of relationships between leaning objects and learning situations of individual users, that are changing in a dynamic way, and generation of personalized curriculum is enabled for supporting users' learning effectively. In this paper, we show our method, and then perform experimental studies with real data for learning mathematics, to evaluate effectiveness and feasibility of our method.
