Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) DRP (Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor) is suitable for service & solution of the embedded system such as MFP (Multi-Function Peripherals) that is "quick response of the customer needs" by high performance and programmability. In this point, the design technique on DRP leads to "Hardware automatic generation becomes the key- technology by software". This paper describes the issue and measures from a result of hardware automatic generation with expansion C language (DFC) for DRP using various data access and flow controls demanded in basic image processing, and also examined the ideal goals of design flow.
