Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 2-D Torus is one of the most commonly-used interconnection network. The performance improvement without additional virtual channel can be expected by applying adaptive routing based on a turn model to a two-dimensional 2-D Torus,. However, verification based on a original turn model for torus network is necessary because the turn model of 2-D Torus have complicated construction compared with mesh. In this paper, we propose an adaptive routing algorithm which applies a turn model to 2-D Torus and puts change to the North First algorithm of mesh network. We also proof the deadlock-free of the routing algorithm, and performance is evaluated with simulation program in this paper..
