Abstract(in English) Hybrid Railway Vehicle is expected as new-generation one. Because it is eco-friendly in terms of low fuel consumption due to reuse of brake energy by using battery. In July 2007, at East Japan Railway Company's KOUMI line, commuter train 'KIHA E200' started world first commercial service with hybrid traction system. In this paper, we introduce verification train "ne@train" and its simulator useful for system design and prior performance evaluation.
