Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we attempt to integrate heterogeneous river data using ontologies. From the perspective of flood control and disaster prevention, river data is expected to be used for various purposes, However, at present, river data is managed separately by different River management offices, so data integration is necessary to perform research activities. Now, the river data, which is in different recording media and formats, make the integration more difficult. In our study, we give a solution for this problem, by using the vertical relation table and ontologies integrated approach. we applied it to the river across data and verified its effectiveness.
