Human Detection in Environment of Intense Changing Brightness

Abstract(in English) In order to be a firm tool for image application, exclusion of false alarm is indispensable work. In the study, the authors are working on development of an image processing method for person detection in environment of intense changing brightness. This method detects an edge in the image change area and calculates a degree of a texture change in a neighboring area of the edge point. In this paper, the method is explained and an experimental result is shown.
